Free cancer screening in Hardap

THE Cancer Association of Namibia (CAN) will commence with the next leg of its National Outreach Programme for 2022 in the Hardap Region on Monday 17 January.

Free screening for breast, cervical and prostate cancers will be done for the first 100 women and first 50 men who all have to bring their identity documents along.

Women should also bring their own gowns, robes or cloth wraps.

Only men aged 45 years and above will be screened and will get a Rapid PSA Test done by pricking a finger.

The screening will start at 09:00 on the respective days.

The dates and venues are as follows: Monday 17 January, Rehoboth, CAN Centre at the Rhenish Mission; Tuesday 18 January, Stampriet, Soetdoringlaagte MoHSS Clinic; Wednesday 19 January, Aranos MoHSS Health Centre; Thursday 20 January, Mariental MoHSS Clinic; and Friday 21 January, Kalkrand MoHSS Clinic.
