TAIMI Abraham, accused of murdering her baby boy whose body was found on a dumpsite, appeared in the Okahao Magistrate’s Court briefly on Tuesday.
The 34-year-old Abraham was remanded in custody and the case was postponed to 28 March 2022 for further investigations.
Abraham, who was employed as a cleaner at Shaanika Nashingo Secondary School at the time of her arrest, faces charges of murder and defeating the course of justice.

Omusati police commander Commissioner Titus Shikongo, stated that Abraham gave birth privately in her room on 23 December 2021, and stayed with the baby boy in the room until 7 January.
She is accused of murdering her baby and dumping the body in a dustbin at Okahao.
The baby’s lifeless body was on Friday discovered wrapped in a plastic bag at the town’s dumpsite by scavengers.
Abraham was arrested on Sunday.
