PRESIDENT Hage Geingob on Thursday reappointed Johannes !Gawaxab as governor of the Bank of Namibia (BoN) for a period of five years, effective from 1 January 2022.
Also retaining his position is deputy governor Ebson Uanguta.
The President appointed Leonie Dunn as second deputy governor of the central bank.
Presenting them their letters of appointment, the Head of State expressed confidence in their abilities, noting that he has no doubt that they will execute their duties with commitment and fairness.
