THE Ministry of Health and Social Services said no deaths due to Covid-19 have been reported in the Monday to Tuesday cycle, while two cases have recovered, one each from Kunene and Erongo.
Minister of Health Dr Kalumbi Shangula said the number of active cases is 76.
Nine are hospitalised, of which one is in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU). None of those hospitalised have been vaccinated.
Six new cases were confirmed from 1 335 test results received in the last 24-hour reporting cycle, which represents a 0.4% positivity ratio.
The gender distribution is five females and one male.
The ages range from five and 35 years.
Among the confirmed cases are two learners and two healthcare workers. One case received one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
According to Shangula, by Sunday a total of 356 714 people had received one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, of which 72 696 got Johnson & Johnson administered as one dose, while 223 428 had received two doses.
Therefore 296 124 have completed their vaccination.
