FAMILY members of a nine-year-old girl who went missing in Havana over the weekend are asking members of the public to assist with finding her.
Fenny Kamosho, the missing girl’s aunt, said that the girl, Muke Tjihunga, mysteriously disappeared on Saturday, 2 October 2021, at Windhoek’s Havana informal settlement.
“She just went out to play around 14:00 on Saturday with the children from the neighbourhood, but when the sunset she never returned. She grew up in Havana so we don’t think she just went missing. In addition, the area where she was playing is not far from her house. The children she was playing with returned to their respective homes at 17:00, and when they were later asked about Muke’s whereabouts, they said that they last saw her walking back towards her mother’s house,” Kamosho said.
The nine-year-old girl, who has been missing for a good three days now, was last seen wearing a white vest and pink shorts.
She is from the Ovazemba tribe and responds to the names Muke or Angel.
