TWO female learners with dreams of becoming lawyers will have a potion of their finances settled when they enroll at the law facility of the University of Namibia (Unam) next year.
Pack Law Chambers is prepared to inject N$20,000 annually for both Kendji Kandinda, a teenager from Otjiwarongo, and Tjehatu Katjomuise, who is from Windhoek, through their years of tertiary education.
Laura Pack, the owner of Pack Law Chambers, a Windhoek based women-only firm specialising in Commercial Litigation, said she wants to make a different by bringing change and giving the adolescent child a better future.
Pack added that her firm approached several schools to select learners who are performing well, but are struggling to pay for their daily needs and school expenses.
Both learners were introduced to the firm by Ritja Career Fair.
Both beneficiaries have expressed interest in studying law when they complete their studies this year.
