IT took the personal best time of Jamaica’s Tina Clayton, the current U20 100m sprint champion, to beat the budding Namibian athletics superstar, Beatrice Masilingi into second place.
Super sprinter Masilingi took a silver medal in the final heat of the 100m sprint race at the Under 20 World Athletics Championship currently underway in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.
Masilingi clocked a time of 11.39 seconds.
The Jamaican sprint queen won the gold medal with a time of 11.09 seconds time was her personal best.
