The Namibian Police in the Erongo Region is looking for suspects that smashed the glass front door to the Sportscene shop in the central business district Swakopmund and looting various items worth almost N$100 000.
According to the incident report provided by the Namibian Police, the brazen burglars stole 139 men’s jeans and 188 t-shirts from the shop situated in the Woermann & Brock shopping centre during the early hours of Monday morning.
“It is alleged that the suspects smashed a glass door with a brick to gain entry to the shop and to loot clothes valued at N$97 566,” the report states.
According to the report, no one has been arrested in connection with the burglary yet.
In this regard, the Namibian Police has requested the public to assist them with information that might lead to the arrest of the suspects and the recovery of the stolen goods.
