THE Namibian Police Force today destroyed drugs with a value of N$9 709 333 in the incinerator of the National Forensic Science Institute.
NamPol spokesperson, Chief Inspector Elifas Kawinga explained that the types of drugs destroyed include cannabis, cocaine powder, crack cocaine, heroin, Mandrax tablets, methamphetamine, and methcathinone.
Kawinga further explained that the drugs were seized during police operations and that it was kept to serve as evidence in various court cases. He said that the all the cases related to the drugs that were destroyed have been finalized.
