NAMIBIANS will now be able to pay their municipal accounts by using the eWallet facility provided by FNB Namibia.

“We are excited about another innovative offering that now allows our customers to pay their water and electricity accounts with an eWallet,” Herman Kruger, FNB Head of Merchant Services and Fleet said.

All customers need to do to make use of the facility is to dial 140392# to access their eWallet, and then select ‘Withdraw Cash’. They will then receive a One-Time-PIN (OTP) and then give their mobile phone number and OTP to the cashier – and the account will be paid.

Additionally, FNB customers can also make use of the many other ways to pay their accounts. They can also use cellphone banking, online banking, the FNB App, and FNB ATMs.

“We truly live in exciting times and are pleased to introduce yet another innovation that enables our customers to bank safely, conveniently, and affordably,” Kruger concluded.
