LOVE, compassion, and holiness are just some of the laws preached in church.
These basic laws resulted in the Christ Victory Ministry of All Nation (Cvmoan) putting its teachings into practice through constructing houses for elderly people who are found abandoned by their families or those that are languishing in poverty.
Lead pastor, Sem Abiatar said Cvmoan has not just been just a church, but a house of solutions for the elderly.
This prompted him to gather close to N$80 000 for the establishment of houses in the area of Indjinda in the Uuhwiyu constituency that will cater to elderly people who find themselves without accommodation and other contributing factors due to poverty.
Since the start of the project this year, they have constructed two houses out of their ten targeted houses that they expect to complete before the end of this year alone.
“We have always looked for unique ways to bring transformation in our community. There is a true housing crisis in our country that needs every persons’ intervention,” he said.
Abiatar stated that apart from constructing houses for the people, they have managed to assist students that needed to further their studies, but were not able to fund themselves be it registration or full tuition fees.
“Everything we do is through compassion and with an understanding that anyone has pain, problems, and poverty are also ours to carry,” he said.
He indicated that they are a nation of love and need to have a love for each other as the bible teaches them.
Cvmoan is also expected to hand over food parcels to elderly people this Saturday in the area of Ondangwa.
