In this regard, Meatco has embarked on a campaign to find new markets for the proudly Namibian product in African and overseas in order to enhance the value chain of beef locally.
Opening up negotiations with possible buyers in foreign countries requires the assistance of the Namibian Government and specifically the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation.
The Meatco Board and Management paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah to brief her about the and latest developments in the company and in the meat industry.
The team also briefed Nandi-Ndaitwah on the many opportunities that the company is pursuing to open up new markets.
