THE Ondangwa Town Council is expected to host a meeting with the resident business community that will focus on addressing the effects of the slow economy and the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The meeting which is scheduled for Thursday is aimed at mapping the way forward of reviving the economy of the town.
The Town Council spokesperson, Petrina Shitalangaho said that the council intended to discuss challenges faced within Ondangwa Town during this challenging time and map the way forward to recover the economy.
Shitalangaho stated that the council saw the need to engage the town’s business community as they are the important stakeholders in the town.
“So when they are affected or unable to continue with their operations, the Council will be affected too,” she said.
