THE Windhoek Wine Club will be hosting its first Wine and Networking Event with the purpose of networking and building personal brands.
Founder of the Windhoek Wine Club, Iyaloo Magongo said the event is scheduled for the 27th of February at the Business Lounge.
She indicated that the event will be centred on creating an opportunity for wine lovers to interact and network while motivating Namibians in supporting the industry of grape growers and winemakers in Namibia.
Magongo explained that her love for wine drove her to establish the club. Moreover, the event brings a unique experience to young professionals looking into networking and establishing connections while promoting the art of viticulture.
“The core of networking is about building long-term relationships and building lasting connections, hence we are encouraging young professionals to embrace social events as an opportunity to learn from others and to lend a helping hand to people you meet,” she said.
Magongo said that the Wine and Networking event provides wine lovers a prospect to engage, connect and establish partners, future employers, and potential investors.
“We will be having a special guest, a trained and knowledgeable wine professional, Irvine Manomano, and amazing conversations around personal branding and a lot of networking,” she added.
Magongo encouraged young professionals to participate in social clubs as it gives them the opportunity to build new friendships, explore personal interests, create excitement, switch up routines and develop skills and knowledge valuable for life.
Windhoek Wine Club was established in 2020 with the aim of promoting the love of wine by providing other wine lovers the chance to learn about a variety of wines and socialize, meet a diverse group of people with similar interests.
