THE 52-year-old teacher from Jan Mohr Secondary School that was accused of raping a 19-year-old boy on the school grounds was arrested late on Saturday afternoon.
The teacher was put on suspension after a charge was registered with the Namibian Police last week.
The arrest was confirmed by the head of the Namibian Police’s Public Relations Division, Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi.
According to Shikwambi, the rape incident occurred in the toilets of the school’s gymnasium.
