A FORMER Otjozondjupa Regional Councillor and member of parliament has been arrested by the Namibian police in connection with the rape of his 18-year-old daughter.
The 42-year-old politician, who cannot be named to protect the identity of his daughter, was arrested this afternoon although he was taken in for questioning yesterday.
He was subsequently charged with incest and rape and is expected to appear at the Okahandja Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
