THE Northern power distributor, NORED, has announced a power outage that will disrupt electricity supply to parts of the Omusati Region on Sunday.
According to the announcement, the blackout will last from 08:00 to 15:00.
Affected areas include Tsandi, Okahao, Onesi, Olushandja, the Indira Ghandi clinic, as well as the historical Omugulugombashe village.
NORED explained that the power outage is meant to allow new customers to be tied in on the grind.
Residents are reminded to at all times treat all electrical installations as alive because the power will be restored without prior notification.
