KONNY Looser has won the Nedbank Desert Dash, the iconic ultra-marathon bike race from Windhoek to Swakopmund for the sixth consecutive year.
The athlete from Switzerland completed this second hat trick in an unofficial time of just more than 14 hours and 45 minutes.
It is not his best time for the gruelling race and he said that strong headwinds slowed him down while he rode his mountain bike through the Namib Desert.
The time he recorded was still enough to make him the champion of the iconic bike race for 2020.
