TWO men, both aged 24, were arrested in connection with the murder of the 28-year-old Bradly Kelvin who died on the streets of Swakopmund after he was stabbed in the neck late on Thursday evening.
According to the incident report provided by the Namibian Police in the Erongo Region, the stabbing occurred at about 23:30 in front of the Amagus Bar in Mondesa as Kelvin and his brother left the venue to go home.
“The deceased person and his brother were confronted and attacked by two suspects as they were leaving the bar to go home. The deceased person sustained a fatal neck wound but still attempted to walk home. He collapsed and died after a short distance,” the report reads.
Paramedics were summoned to the scene but they could do nothing for the victim. He was declared dead on the spot where he collapsed.
The two suspects will make their first appearance on a charge of murder each in the Swakopmund Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
