MYSTERY surrounds the death of a young woman, the 26-year-old Jennefer Jenneth Daniels, whose body was discovered near Vierkantklip just outside Swakopmund on Wednesday morning.
The discovery of the young woman from Mondesa, who was employed by a well-known restaurant at the holiday town, has left detectives of the Namibian Police with more questions than answers.
According to Deputy Commisssioner Erastus Iikuyu, the Erongo Regional Crime Investigations Coordinator, the naked body of Daniels was discovered by a person that was driving to the beach near Vierkantklip.

“The young woman had multiple injuries all over her body and it is believed that the murderer dumped her body about 100 metres from the shoreline some time during Tuesday night,” he said.
The gruesome discovery follows about two months after the body of Shannon Wasserfal was discovered in a shallow grave in the wasteland behind the Dunes Mall in Walvis Bay.
Deputy Commissioner Iikuyu said the deceased young woman was identified on the scene of the heinous crime but police had to look for her next of kin to confirm the identity of the naked body on the beach.
He indicated that a case of murdered was registered with the Police in Walvis Bay and requested any person who knows what might have transpired before the woman was murdered or who the possible murderer could be, to come forward and assist the police in their investigation.
Any person that will be able to shed more light on the matter is requested to contact Deputy Commissioner Iikuyu at 081 246 4757, Detective Warrant Officer Geiseb at 081 262 9842 or the nearest Police Station at 10111.
Such information can also be presented in person to any member of the Namibian Police.
