Voters trickling in slowly after initial rush

HALF way through voting day, the number of voters at smaller polling stations in Outapi have started to diminishing to a low trickle.

Some voters spent Tuesday night at the polling stations, while many more were queuing since early Wednesday morning to cast their votes and by lunchtime, most of them had gone through the process.

The presiding officer at the Traditional Hall polling station in Outapi, Petrus Daniel, said the process went quickly and that they are expecting more people to arrive as the day progresses.
