BRAVE Warriors coach Bobby Samaria still has to announce the team that will play a friendly international match against the South African national team in Rustenburg on Thursday.
The South African Football Association confirmed that the international friendly that will take place following authorization from the relevant stakeholders amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Acting Secretary-General of the Namibia Football Association, Franco Cosmos said: “We have confirmation for the friendly. South Africa was opened for international travels but the match always depended on the necessary approvals”, says Cosmos.
About the 2020 Cosafa Cup, Cosmos said: ”It was supposed to take place early in October but due to unforeseen circumstances, it was cancelled. So we will go to South Africa for the friendly and then back home to prepare for the AFCON qualifiers in November 2020″.
Brave Warriors coach Bobby Samaria had 34 players in his qualifying camp to choose from.
”The boys are making it tough for me. They are pushing themselves and they are hungry to play so I have to be patient and fair to them as well”, said Samaria.
