THE Namibian Police have intensified their search for the perpetrators of the rape of an 11-year-old girl and the murder of a 29-year-old man in the Havana informal settlement of Windhoek.
In this regard, a cash reward of N$160 000 has been made available to the person who can provide information that will lead to the arrest of the persons responsible for these violent crimes.
The Public Relations Division of the Namibian Police in a statement said that the suspects are still unknown and not yet arrested.
“However, there are some leads and clues the Police are working on in order to trace the suspects,” the statement reads.
Any person who might have such information is requested to contact the head of the Crime Investigations Division, Commissioner Moritz !Naruseb at 081 305 2897, Deputy Commissioner Sydney Philander at 081 124 3174, or Detective Inspector Simeon Nghilalulwan at 081 256 0988 who are overseeing the investigation into these matters.
The detectives gave the assurance that any information provided to the Namibian Police that will ensure the arrest and successful prosecution of the suspects will be dealt with the highest confidentiality.
