Public urged to identify hit and run victim

THE Namibian Police is seeking the assistance of members of the public in identifying the body of a hit and run victim in the Oshikoto Region.

Deputy Commissioner, Kauna Shikwambi, said the assistance of the public is needed in tracing the family members of an unidentified male person who was bumped by a motor vehicle and died on the spot on the road between Omuthiya and Ondangwa, at Onambeke B village on Monday, 21 September 2020, at about 21h00.

He has been described as tall, slender built and dark in complexion.

He is believed to be between the ages of 30 and 40.

The image below shows the clothes that the deceased was wearing on the day of the accident.
