Eba Kandovazu

THE Office of the Prime Minister today dispatched 1 800 fish tins, 40 000 bags of mahangu and maize meal, as well as 100 mattresses and tents for the residents of Twaloloka following a fire last night that left hundreds homeless.

This was announced by the Executive Director in that office, I-Ben Nashandi, while adding that a truck carrying the items has been sent to Walvis Bay in the wake of the biggest fire recorded at the coastal town.

The tents will serve as temporary shelter for the affected families.
