World football governing body, FIFA has extended the Namibia Football Association’s Normalisation Committee mandate until 15 March 2020.
In a letter addressed to NC, FIFA informed her of its Bureau of Councils decision taken on 14 October to extend the NC mandate, which will include overseeing Elective Congress of the Namibia Football Association by at least February 2020.
NC was tasked by the FIFA Bureau of Council on 15 May 2019, to assist NFA members with abiding by their statutory obligations.
On 14 October, FIFA’s Bureau of Council decided to extend the mandate of the NC to 15 March 2020 to ensure that they continue with assisting the members with their good standings with the mother body before elections can take place.
The NC decisions, FIFA states, will be final and binding as far as the elections of the new NFA executive committee are concerned.
