A TRUCK driver on his way between Rundu and Divundu celebrated along with the rest of Namibians as more good rains fell in spots over the northern half of the country.
It is the third day in row that areas in the Kavango East received some rain.
Earlier on Saturday showers were reported at Gobabis and Windhoek. Good rains also fell during Friday night in the Khomas Hochland to the west of Windhoek.
On Saturday some isolated showers were reported from Brakwater to Okahndja.
To the west some rain was observed in the area of Omaruru and Karibib for a second day in row.
According to the Namibia Meteorological Services partly cloudy and hot to very hot conditions with scattered thundershowers and rain over the north western parts of the country are predicted. More isolated showers will also occur over the central-northern and central parts of the country on Sunday.
It will be partly cloudy and very hot in the south of Namibia.
At the coast partly cloudy and mild to warm conditions are forecast. Thundershowers and rain is likely likely over the northern and central coast.
