FRANCE weathered a Tongan storm to reach the 2019 Rugby World Cup quarter-finals with a nail-biting 23-21 victory over the Pacific islanders.
France led 17-7 at halftime but Tonga fought back to within two points of the lead.
England and France have three wins each and will play to decide top spot in Pool C next Saturday.
