THE number of children killed as a result of motor vehicle accidents rose sharply in the past week as two more died on the scene where the vehicle in which they were passengers rolled several times next to the road between Kamanjab and Outjo.
Three adults also died in the same incident earlier on Friday. A fourth critically injured adult victim passed away at the Outjo hospital.
It brings the total number of minor children killed as a result of car accidents to four in only two days. Earlier this week two little girls were killed as a result of a collision between a heavy transport truck and the light passenger vehicle in which they were travelling from Usakos towards Arandis.

The latest fatal incident occurred on the main road between Kamanjab and Outjo near Otjikondo.
