THE African continent took a giant step in the right direction with the African Continental Free Trade Agreement reached in May and the establishment of the African Free trade Area during July this year.
The creation of free intra African trade will greatly benefit the economies of the different countries through value addition and new investment in a more peaceful and stable environment. The agreement will also contribute greatly to economic growth for member states of the Southern African Development Community.
