Namibia plans to hit harder against Ivory Coast

THE Brave Warriors will have to push harder and secure the much-needed win against The Elephants and hope for luck to work in their favour and secure a place in the Round of 16 at the 2019 AFCON tournament.
Namibia has been unlucky in its previous two matches, losing a goal to zero in both matches against Morocco and South Africa.
Tonight, Namibia faces another tough opposition in the name of Ivory Coast, which also needs all three points or a draw to secure a spot in the Round of 16.
Coach Ricardo Mannetti said his team has shown that it can play the best on the continent and for the Ivory Coast match; it has to do more to get the elusive goal and probably a win at the 32nd edition of the African Cup of Nations.
” We need more than our compact play against Morocco and the flexibility against South Africa. We need to add more and get the goals and this can happen. I’m positive and the boys know they can give more,” Mannetti stated.
He added that the group has been tough as evidenced by the score lines.
”Very close score lines and now it’s our chance to score and maybe win. We respect Ivory Coast and we know they will come out to play as well. We have to get around them and get our goal in this group and hopefully a win as well”, said Mannetti.
