THE Namibia Boxing Federation (NABF) recently announced that its annual national championship boxing tournament would be hosted in Zambezi.
In line with the Federation’s objective to decentralize participation in the sport of boxing in other regions, the NBF will host the tournament in partnership with Kamunu holdings.
NBF President, Kelly Nghixulifa said that about 120 boxers between the age group of 18-40 from 10 regions expected to take part in the tournament.
“These boxers have been preparing themselves for the event and we are very much excited about it,” he said.
Nghixulifa also said that the motivation behind the tournament is to help the boxers to gain exposure as professionals in the industry and compete with the best in the country.
