BOTH the Namibian senior and junior national rugby teams will do battle on two different fronts in Windhoek and Uruguay this weekend.
The junior side is set to lock horns against Hino Valke in the SuperSport Rugby Challenge at the Hage Geingowb Stadium in Windhoek later today while the first tier team will take on host nation Uruguay in the World Rugby Nations Cup on Sunday in Montevideo.
The Windhoek Draught Welwitschias is set to gain some advantage against the Valke, who also did not have a smooth run in the SuperSport Rugby Challenge competition, with only two victories and four losses to their name.
The SuperSport Rugby Challenge has served the local team well in terms of preparation and testing new and experienced player combinations for the final selection of the side that will compete in this year’s Rugby World Cup in Japan.
