AFTER their heaviest 5-1 defeat by MTC NPL table toppers Black Africa over the weekend, African Stars has fired its head coach, Robert Nauseb.
Black Africa is now sitting on 10 points while sixth place African Stars has registered six points on the board. The Club appointed Bobby Samaria to steer the ship in time for the CAF Champions League second round first leg group match against Orlando Pirates, which will take place on 13 December in South Africa. The second leg match will be played on 22 December at the Sam Nujoma stadium. Nauseb, who was recently appointed, saw the team win against Comoros Island’s Volcano de Moroni 2-1 to progress to the second round of the CAF Champions league tournament where the team faced a tough encounter against Pirates.
