CONSISTENT performance and staff appreciation awarded the Trustco Group with the Gold Seal of Achievement in the prestigious Deloitte “Best Company To Work For” 2018 survey in Namibia.
This competition is the foremost industry workplace benchmark indicator in the country.
It was the fifth consecutive year that Trustco participated in this independent survey and the fourth year that the company is ranked amongst the top two large size companies to work for in Namibia. This is an accomplishment to be extremely proud of!
A key objective of the Deloitte Best Company Survey is to enable an organization to identify what attracts and motivates individuals within the workplace and how their experience in the workplace influences overall productivity and engagement levels. The winners of this year’s survey were announced at a breakfast ceremony yesterday, where Pupkewitz Group Holdings walked away with the 1st place in the large size company category, while in the category for smaller to medium size companies, the winner was Bank of Namibia followed by the Road Fund Administration.
The Best Company survey, which was re-engineered in 2017, now provides comprehensive and insightful reports with more dynamic reporting via access to the Deloitte Portal. The survey also includes 100% coverage of employees as opposed to the selected sample surveys of the past.
Receiving the Deloitte award, the Group Head of Corporate Communications of Trustco Group Holdings, Neville Basson said, “Each and every employee of the group deserves a commanding salute for their creative contributions toward our consistent success. The continued high regard our staff displays in their ‘let me do it’ approach towards their daily tasks, will see us compete at this level of excellence with our fellow corporates for years to come. As our employees empower Trustco, so the group also seeks to empower its employees, by awarding them shares after one year of loyal service. Tough economic conditions are not an excuse for us as Namibians not to continually produce a workforce of note within our corporate environments to ensure that they can be the instruments propelling our country forward economically.”
Based on a Best Company Score, participating organizations are awarded a Seal of Achievement, with Trustco obtaining the Gold Achievers Award as demonstration of the employees’ perception of the attractiveness of the organization and commitment to its people, enabling Trustco to market itself as an employer of choice in Namibia.
