PAULUS “The Rock” Ambunda’s trainer and country advisor, Immanuel ‘AC’ Moses, says that despite the win against Muhamad “The Chosen Wan” Ridhwan, Ambunda is prepared for their rematch clash encounter set for 29 March this year.
Ambunda, who signed a three-year deal with Asian’s Ringstar boxing promoters, is set to take on “The Chosen Wan” for the WBC Silver world championship title, which is currently vacant.
Ambunda is said to be in very high spirit and is looking forward to the match in order to bring back a world title.
“He is the only world champion at the moment, and therefore it is his dream to have that green belt and bring the title home,” he said.
According to Moses, this is a step further in the division level as Ambunda previously fought in the super bantam weight division with the upcoming match set to take place under the featherweight division.
“The Rock is confident and his preparations shows it. It doesn’t matter if he has won against him (Ridhwan) already, as we will improve on our flaws and give a little bit more to make sure we come out on top,” he said.
Ridhwan faced his first defeat in his entire professional career, 11-1, with the much coveted IBO World Super Bantamweight title going to Ambunda last year.
